Why Should You Consider Summer Camp?

Summer camp is more than a summer version of day care and it is more than specialty camps to learn underwater basket weaving. Simply put, summer camp is amazing, and it is something everyone should experience. Check out why we think you your child should go to summer camp:

Friends: Everyone enjoys friendships. You could say that society has pretty much been built on the idea of friendship, and idea of helping pick each other up. Come experience the power of a friendship forged at camp. It’s certainly a friendship that you will remember for a lifetime.
Fun: There isn’t much to expound on here, summer camp is fun! From activities to group games to worship sessions with friends, summer camp is loaded with “fun.” With adventures like learning to blob, braving the zipline, or launching water balloons at your counselor, there is never a shortage of fun at camp.
Faith: You will find summer camps that have no mention of a faith component, or some places where it is merely an afterthought, but at Camp Otyokwah, the faith competent is critical. In fact, it is less of a component and more of who we are. We know the importance of building our faith in Jesus Christ, so we spend the week diving in Scripture and learning the awesome magnificence of God.
