Value Seen In The Cross

The cross of Christ is something that is looked at often during this time of the year. The cross that Christ died on serves as our reminder of the hideousness of our sin, and the value God places on His glory and justice.

Christ did not die to respond to any value He saw in us. Rather, He died to create Spirit-wrought value. Ephesians 2:10 says, “We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

​The death of Christ on the cross testifies nothing of you and me, but everything of God and His atoning work through His eternal Son, Jesus Christ! 

During this Easter season, let the cross of Christ testify these truths:

1. The infinite value of the glory and justness of God.
2. The utter depravity of humanity past and present.
3. The immeasurable greatness of the grace of God to offer mankind eternal forgiveness and redemption.
4. The wonder and blessing of the new creation that God has brought to a fallen world.

Christ’s death on the cross is a beautiful reminder of the value that God places on His glory and justice.
