Summer Staff Positions at Camp Otyokwah

Cabin Counselor 
Primary responsibilities

Supervise cabin group, build relationships and counsel with campers, teach a camp skill activity area (as learned at staff training) and lead a Bible study.
Applicants should have a desire to share God's Word and a willingness to work together.

Recreation Leader
Primary responsibilities

Work closely with the Director and will be responsible for the daily recreation programs
Assist in planning and implementing the activities schedule.

Lifeguard
Primary responsibilities

Lifeguarding for waterfront activities.

Requirements: Lifeguard Cert. through Red Cross or YMCA.

Worship Leader
Primary responsibilities

Band members lead musical worship each evening.
You'll be cross trained in at least one other area of camp

Media Tech - Videographer / Photographer
Primary responsibilities

Take video/photos of campers and staff
Capture promo shots (to be used in brochures, online materials and recruiting displays
Produce camp video for each week (videographer)
Share photos/video clips on social media

Experience/skills desired: Experience and skills in videography/photography, past camp experience a plus.

Contact the Executive Director for assistance in establishing an internship for credit agreement with your school.

Craft Leader
Primary responsibilities

Organize, coordinate, and facilitate craft activities throughout the week
Keep the craft area clean and organized
Facilitate creativity and encouraging conversation
You'll be cross trained in at least one other area of camp
