What kinds of summer camp activities are available?
The Dean and his staff team select the activities for the week.  Residential summer camp offers a variety of activities campers may have the opportunity to participate in.  See Activities for a list of activities available at Otyokwah Camp and Retreat Center.

Do you perform background checks on your staff?
Yes!  Camp Otyokwah obtains references from residential summer camp volunteers and paid staff and performs a formal background check on them to help ensure the safety of each camper.  Each week of summer camp is led by a team of wonderful volunteer staff members, many of which return each year.

How is the food?
Excellent.  Our food service team provides great tasting, nutritionally balanced meals to fuel summer campers and staff for their energy-packed days at camp.  At Otyokwah Camp and Retreat Center, our air-conditioned dining room provides a welcome break on hot days, where summer campers can relax with friends and enjoy their meal. What is available at the Camp Snack Shack and Gift Shop?
The Camp Snack Shack offers summer campers a variety of snack items including Slush Puppies, Ice Cream, Bottled Water, Gatorade, Pop, Candy, and Chips.  The Gift Shop offers Summer campers can find T-shirts, hats, hoodies, and other assorted souvenirs at the Gift Shop.  Reasonable limits are placed on each camper’s daily sugar intake and all summer campers are encouraged to pace their spending.
