Are you good stewards?

Will she learn self-management skills?

• Your child will learn self-management skills. Counselors make sure the cabin group is doing what they are supposed to and she will be prompted, when necessary, for important tasks (such as taking a shower!).  However, it will be her responsibility to get herself ready and be on time for activities and that means she is learning self-management. ​

Will you be good role models of environmental stewardship?

• We will be good role models of environmental stewardship.  We encourage everyone not to waste food and to turn off the lights when leaving a room.  We give kids a chance to be in God’s creation and encourage them to be good caretakers of it.  We try to minimize what goes to the landfill.  There are lots of ways to model environmental stewardship in a camp setting.

Will you use your talents and time for her benefit?

• Our goal as a staff team is to invest our time and talents to benefit your child.  We understand that you want her time at camp to matter and be an outstanding, positive experience in her life.  We want that for her too and sacrificially give of ourselves for her benefit.
